Job summary

IDEX is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to act as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers, driving orders from quote to cash while coordinating with Commercial Account Managers and multiple internal teams.

You will own quotations, order management, customer communications, and forecasting support to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction. This role requires a customer-first mindset and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• 2–5 years in inside sales, customer service, or order management.
• Experience in manufacturing and technical products preferred.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems required; JD Edwards experience preferred.
• Experience supporting domestic and international customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary inside sales contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Manage requests throughout the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
• Prepare accurate quotations per pricing strategy and policies.
• Process purchase orders accurately and acknowledge orders promptly.
• Maintain timely order acknowledgements and monitor backlog.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain.
