Capital Lumber Co. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for the Salt Lake Branch. You will grow prospects and sales by contacting current and potential customers by phone and by assisting walk-in customers with information and product details.

Role requires the ability to multi-task, maintain product knowledge, and coordinate orders with yard staff. You will support Account Managers and participate in inventories in a fast-paced lumber environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or commensurate industry experience.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• Inspire, motivate and engage commitment of customers.
• Strong urgency for goal achievement.
• Collaborate to provide innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of Capital and its products/services.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Take and write orders from customers by phone with pricing and delivery info.
• Assist walk-in customers with information or products.
• Provide pricing/quotes from pricebooks and product info.
• Coordinate orders with yard personnel.
• Assist customers with problems.
• Communicate order status to Account Managers.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Adapt to changes in duties as needed.
