Carter Lumber Company is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to be the face of the store, delivering friendly customer service and expert product guidance. You will assist customers, prepare estimates, and process transactions with a commission-based earning structure.

The role emphasizes a people-first culture, teamwork, and the opportunity to grow within a family-owned company with a long history in Ohio and surrounding states.

Formación

• Experience in sales or customer service
• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Effective communication skills
• Building materials knowledge helpful but not required
• Team-oriented mindset
• Ability to meet sales and profit goals

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers who walk into the store
• Share product information and advise on projects
• Produce estimates for packages and projects
• Process transactions at the POS
• Follow up on online customer quotes
• Qualify new leads via cold calls
• Support Outside Sales Reps as needed
• Assist in inventory control with cycle counts and shortages/overages
