Carter Lumber Company is hiring an Inside Sales Rep in Ohio. You will be the friendly face customers rely on, providing product information, projecting needs, and processing sales. You’ll also handle quotes, cold calls, and support Outside Sales while helping manage inventory and cycle counts.

Salary plus commission offers uncapped earning potential, with opportunities to grow within the company as you deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Experience working in sales or customer service.

• Familiarity with building materials is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store with product information and project advice.
• Share product details, generate estimates, and process transactions.
• Follow up on online quotes, qualify new leads, and support Outside Sales Reps.
• Assist in inventory control, cycle counts, and resolving overages/shortages.
