Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to be the face of the store, delivering friendly customer service and expert product guidance. You will assist customers, provide estimates, and process transactions while supporting the sales team and inventory control.

A commission-based earning structure offers uncapped earning potential. You should bring experience in sales or customer service, a friendly, outgoing demeanor, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers as they walk in and share product information.
• Provide advice on project needs and prepare estimates for packages and projects.
• Process transactions accurately in the store POS system.
• Follow up on online quotes and qualify new leads via cold calls.
• Support Outside Sales Reps and help with inventory control and cycle counts.
