You will handle orders, quotes, inquiries, and collaboration with outside sales reps; processing payments, maintaining showroom, inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years inside sales experience (incoming call preferred)
• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
• Ability to focus on different tasks and use time efficiently to achieve desired outcomes
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems
• Warehouse work which includes forklift experience/training
• Strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail
• Ability to manage quotes, orders, and customer inquiries
• Experience in inside sales, construction, or building materials is preferred

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales Support: Maintain professional communication with customers before, during, and after sales; provide product knowledge and generate quotes and proposals; assist walk-in customers and handle inquiries or complaints; drive profitable sales through upselling and cross-selling.
• Order Management & Communication: Enter orders, pricing, and customer data; respond to orders and quote requests via multiple channels; collaborate with outside sales reps and internal teams to fulfill needs.
• Inventory & Showroom Operations: Maintain stock levels; organize showroom; schedule inbound/outbound deliveries and shipping logistics; negotiate freight rates.
• Cash Handling & System Use: Operate and balance the cash register daily; use management software for billing and reporting.
• Product & Project Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date product expertise; manage documentation for large or complex projects.
• Logistics & Operations Coordination: Coordinate deliveries with Operations; coordinate purchase and delivery of special products.
• Trainings: Attend all required meetings and training programs.
• Miscellaneous: Support company values; other duties as assigned
