Insight Global is seeking an early-career, energetic Inside Sales Representative in Carlsbad, California. This role focuses on selling products close to their end of shelf life, primarily liaising with previous customers. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of proactive sales experience, excellent communication skills, and ideally, a science-related background.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain sales experience in a leading company. Successful candidates will be skilled in closing deals over the phone.

Overview

We’re looking for an early-career, high-energy sales candidate (1–2 years experience) who is comfortable proactively reaching out to warm leads and closing deals over the phone. The ideal person is a strong communicator who can think on their feet, navigate pricing/discount conversations, and ideally has some exposure to a science-related background.

What to Expect

• Will be using generated leads to connect with customers to sell product that is close to end of shelf life.
• Goal is to sell discounted material before it ages out.
• Most leads will be previous customers that have already purchased this. Will be given guidelines for what discounts they can negotiate.
• Will need to be able to think on their feet in order to close the sales.
• Customer account interaction.

Required & Must have skills

• (1-2 years experience) Sales Experience – Phone/Door to door – Not Passive sales, not Storefront sales.
• (1-2 years experience) Using Leads to reach out and make sales.
• Communication Skills.
• Very Beneficial to have a background in science.
