Job summary

United Rentals in Nashville is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to support the branch by expanding equipment rentals and services while delivering exceptional customer service. You will identify rental and sales opportunities, quote and process contracts, and coordinate with branch staff to ensure accurate records and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Strong customer service orientation and sales experience/skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Engineering aptitude: size/quote/install/maintain large projects and complex systems.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of the rental business for specialty engineered products and services.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts through telemarketing and by serving call-in customers.
• Process rental quotations, reservations, contracts and invoices per policies.
• Educate customers on proper equipment usage and safety procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of all contract-related information in the branch system.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and facilitate operations.
• Coordinate with inside/outside staff to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
