Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Rep in Manassas, VA to implement the branch’s business plan by meeting the needs of a diverse customer base.

You will drive revenue through rentals, sales, and superior service while advising on product/service needs and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role requires strong sales experience, customer service orientation, and the ability to size and quote large projects with engineering aptitude.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and sales experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Engineering aptitude to size, quote and install/maintain large projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish rental and sales accounts via telemarketing and call-ins.
• Process quotations, reservations, contracts, and invoices per policy.
• Educate customers on proper equipment usage and safety.
• Ensure accuracy of contract information in the system.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups/returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and operations.
• Collaborate with inside/outside staff to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
