Job summary

Wesco in Memphis is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to engage with existing customers, grow orders, and upsell products. You will coordinate with outside sales to meet targets, manage orders, and handle quotations, while delivering excellent customer service and value.

You will collaborate across teams, qualify opportunities from marketing and national accounts, and travel up to 25% as needed to ensure delivery and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in sales and sales administration; capable contributor.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office; basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team; strong communication.
• Willingness to travel 0%–25%.

Responsibilities

• Obtains orders through email and telephone calls; verifies items and enters them.
• Increases orders by upselling and referencing customer history.
• Owns and develops opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
• Identifies ways to improve processes.
• Prepares quotations to secure orders and follows up on losses.
• Reviews open orders and communicates delivery status.
• Maintains backorder and expediting reports; notifies customers.
• Reports industry trends and pricing to management.
