Job summary

Wesco is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to engage existing customers, drive orders, and expand the current account base. You will upsell, quote, and collaborate with outside sales to meet targets, while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role offers a base salary with commission tied to sales performance and a comprehensive benefits program. Travel is up to 25% to support customer visits and account development.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–4 years of sales and sales administration experience.
• High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Able to prospect and market concepts to existing and new accounts.
• Willingness to travel 0–25%.
• Role includes commission in addition to base salary based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter orders via email and phone, verify items, and coordinate fulfillment.
• Increase order value by suggesting related items and leveraging buying history.
• Qualify and develop opportunities from marketing and outside teams.
• Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare quotes and follow up to secure orders.
• Monitor open orders and address items at risk of late delivery.
• Maintain backorder and expediting reports and notify customers.
• Report industry trends and customer feedback to management.
