Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Indiana is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to assist customers and contractors with project needs. This full-time role requires open availability Monday through Sunday, with store hours 7am–8pm and evenings/weekends.

You will greet customers, provide product recommendations, prepare quotes and invoices, and coordinate deliveries with the Sales Manager. Prior retail and customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years of related experience or training; or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in the building materials/construction industry.
• 1+ years customer service experience.
• Retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Advise customers on solutions and add-on sales when appropriate.
• Answer questions and resolve customer concerns.
• Prepare quotes, purchase orders, and invoices for projects.
• Schedule deliveries and installations with customers.
• Keep product knowledge up to date and educate on changes.
• Open and close store as assigned.
