Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Ohio is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to assist customers and contractors with project needs in a full-time, 40-hour workweek. The role requires evenings and weekend availability, with store hours 7am to 8pm and duties across sales, ordering, and customer service.

You will become knowledgeable about product lines, prepare estimates and quotes, and help coordinate deliveries. Previous retail or building materials experience is a plus, and a strong focus on service,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the building materials/construction industry.
• 1+ years customer service experience.
• Retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner; advise on solutions and upsell when appropriate.
• Process orders, quotes, and invoices accurately for homes, businesses, and additions.
• Learn product lines and stay educated on industry trends.
• Assist with store operations including ringing up sales and stocking shelves.
