Gillman Home Center seeks an Inside Sales Specialist to assist customers and contractors with project needs. This full-time role (40 hours) requires availability Monday–Sunday; evenings and weekends. Reporting to the Shelbyville location, duties include pricing, orders, quotes, and coordinating deliveries and installations.

The ideal candidate will provide excellent service, stay educated on product lines, and collaborate across departments to resolve customer concerns and drive add-on sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 years of related experience or training.
• 3+ years of experience in the building materials/construction industry.
• 1+ years customer service experience.
• Retail experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Assist customers on projects and advise on solutions.
• Process orders, quotes, invoices, and purchases.
• Educate self on product lines and industry trends.
• Help across departments and maintain storefront organization.
• Open/close store and ensure a safe working environment.
