Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Beech Grove, IN, is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to assist customers and contractors with project needs. This full-time role (40 hours/week) requires open availability Monday through Sunday, including evenings and weekends, and reports to our Shelbyville store location.

You will deliver friendly service, build product knowledge, prepare take-offs and quotes, process orders and invoices, coordinate deliveries, handle returns, and support the sales team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years related experience or training or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in building materials/construction industry.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and contractors with project needs and recommendations.
• Provide excellent service and resolve customer concerns.
• Prepare and process quotes, purchase orders, and invoices for projects.
• Manage deliveries, installations, and scheduling with vendors and customers.
• Assist with daily store operations and maintain accurate inventory and pricing.
