Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Indiana is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to assist customers and contractors with project needs. This full‑time role is 40 hours per week with open availability Monday–Sunday; store hours are 7am–8pm and evenings/weekends are required.

The position reports to the Shelbyville store. Responsibilities include delivering excellent service, advising on solutions, preparing quotes, estimates and orders, processing invoices, and coordinating deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 years related experience or training.
• 3+ years of experience in the building materials/construction industry.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Assist customers with project needs and quotes.
• Create accurate take-offs, estimates, quotes, and orders.
• Process invoices and manage purchases for projects.
• Answer questions and resolve customer concerns.
• Stay educated on product lines and industry trends.
