Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a CSR/Inside Sales Representative to sell products and services to prospective and existing customers. You will handle inquiries via face-to-face, phone, email, or fax, learn policies, procedures, and product offerings, and collaborate with the Branch Manager to grow territory coverage and dealer relationships.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, some college preferred.
• 1–3 years of progressive sales experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC products and customer service experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Help drive sales by maintaining accounts and communicating new product launches, services, and discounts via outbound calls.
• Provide excellent customer service via face-to-face interactions, phone, and email.
• Process orders, purchase orders, payments, quotes and delivery dates with accuracy to ensure correct items are ordered.
• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications.
• Coordinate shipments and monitor delivery dates with manufacturing, sales, and vendors.
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information promptly.
• Educate customers about product terminology, features and benefits to boost sales and satisfaction.
• Advise customers on item availability and assist with warranties and returns.
• Work with Branch Manager to resolve issues and ensure policy adherence.
• Periodically reach out to customers to assess satisfaction with products and services.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities.
• Expand HVAC knowledge and stay current with industry trends.
• Collaborate across management and peers to deliver high-quality service.
