Job summary

ELANTAS is seeking a Manager, Customer Service & Inside Sales in Schenectady, NY to lead a local team of Customer Account Specialists handling quotations and sales orders for domestic and international customers. You will serve as the primary contact and escalation point and collaborate with production, shipping, finance, quality, and sales.

The role emphasizes coaching, developing procedures, ensuring cross-functional communication, and leveraging SAP to drive reporting and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or communications is preferred.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• CFR 49 / IATA / IMDG certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Export experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a local team supporting order processing and customer activities.
• Coach and develop team members and maintain procedures.
• Coordinate with external customers and internal functions.
• Be the key user of SAP and other internal systems.
• Generate reports and present data to stakeholders.
• Support other local and regional teams as required.
