Wesco is seeking an Associate Representative - Inside Sales in Bangor, ME. You will engage with existing customers mainly by phone and email to grow orders, up-sell products and improve the buying experience. Collaboration with outside sales ensures goals are met and commissions align with performance.

The role emphasizes order entry, quotations, proactive follow-up, and maintaining accurate customer communications as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0-2 years in sales or sales administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong prospecting skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders via email and telephone calls, verify items, enter, transfer to fulfillment, explain stock-outs and delivery dates.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and reviewing buying history.
• With guidance, qualify and develop opportunities from marketing, outside sales and national accounts.
• Prepare and follow up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders or determine reasons for loss of order.
• Review open customer order reports and address items at risk of missing delivery dates.
• Maintain backorder and expediting reports and customer notifications.
• Report industry trends, pricing and customer feedback to management.
