Job summary

Wesco in Georgia is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to interact with existing customers, increase sales, and upsell products and services. You will collaborate with outside sales to meet goals and focus on proactive selling to grow the book of accounts.

You will handle order processing, quotations, and customer communications, with a commission opportunity in addition to base salary based on performance. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelors' degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in sales and sales administration; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to perform basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Obtains orders via email and phone; verifies items and enters orders.
• Increases orders by suggesting related items and leveraging customer history.
• Owns and develops opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities.
• Prepares quotations to secure orders or analyze lost orders.
• Reviews open order reports and acts on items at risk of late delivery.
• Maintains backorder and expediting reports and notifies customers.
