Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Scarborough, ME. You will drive revenue by proactively acquiring customers, retaining accounts, and delivering service excellence through phone and email outreach.

You will understand client needs, propose solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include relationship-building, contract management, upsell/cross-sell, quotes and proposals, and close collaboration with marketing and sales to fuel

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management.
• B2B sales or related industry experience preferred.
• CRM proficiency with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Builds and nurtures relationships with assigned accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Manages contracts and account profitability, proactively monitoring activity and addressing issues to prevent churn.
• Identifies upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities through outreach and lead conversion.
• Conducts sales calls and prepares quotes, proposals, and contracts for the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Collaborates with marketing and sales teams to support campaigns and growth strategies.
• Responds promptly to inquiries, resolves complaints professionally, and provides accurate service information.
• Coordinates with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with customer expectations.
• Maintains detailed CRM records, tracking interactions, activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
• Contributes to process improvements and training to enhance tools and workflows.
