Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Systems Engineer to work with channel partners on West Coast hours in a teleworker role across the US. You will act as a technical advisor in switching, routing, wireless, security, and AI-native networking, supporting end-to-end solution design and customer engagement.

The role emphasizes pre-sales technical enablement, design reviews, and partner enablement, with a focus on expanding HPE Networking solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in CS/IT/engineering.
• 3+ years in networking systems engineering, presales, or partner-facing roles.
• Hands-on with campus, branch, and data center networks.
• Experience with channel partners or distributors and channel go-to-market.
• Experience supporting partners serving commercial/SLED customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop partner technical competency and sales readiness.
• Provide remote presales support across opportunity lifecycle.
• Qualify opportunities early to focus on winnable deals.
• Assist with discovery, architecture, sizing, and configuration.
• Review designs, BOMs, and technical proposals.
• Create reusable resources and reference designs for partners.
