Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Systems Engineer to work with channel partners on the West Coast. The Inside Channel/Partner Systems Engineer will act as a technical advisor across switching, wireless, routing, security, and AI‑native networking, delivering scalable, inside technical sales support to expand partner capabilities.

The role focuses on solution design, technical validation, and customer engagement, enabling partners to grow their HPE Networking practices and achieve

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of networking systems engineering, preferably presales/sales engineering/partner-facing.
Hands-on experience designing, deploying, or supporting enterprise campus, branch, and data center networks.

Responsibilities

Develop partner technical competency and sales readiness for smaller partners.
Provide remote technical presales support throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
Help partners qualify opportunities early to focus on winnable deals.
Assist with discovery, architecture, product selection, sizing, and configuration.
Review solution designs, bills of materials, and technical proposals.
Teach partners to size and quote solutions with confidence.
