Travelers is hiring an Inside Auto Appraiser to virtually inspect damaged vehicles, estimate repair costs, and settle total losses. You will work with direct repair partners and claim staff to ensure accurate, timely settlements while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires vehicle damage expertise, two years of appraisal experience, and proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office. Travel for on-site inspections may be required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active adjuster license, where applicable.
• Two years auto physical damage appraisal experience.
• Proficient in claims management and estimating software; strong Microsoft Office and enterprise tech skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong customer service orientation.

Mansioni

• Review and assess vehicle damage via virtual inspections.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates for parts, labor, and materials.
• Determine actual cash value (ACV) using market analysis and valuation tools.
• Negotiate repair costs with body shops, customers, and third parties.
• Identify pre-existing damage, prior repairs, and potential fraud indicators.
• Coordinate with Direct Repair partners, claim reps, and vendors to finalize repairs.
• Explain the appraisal process to customers and keep them informed throughout the claim.
• Adapt to new technologies and AI tools while maintaining productivity.
• May perform on-site inspections and travel to meet customers.
