Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Network Float Pool across multiple AZ campuses. The role emphasizes evaluation, treatment planning, and collaboration with physicians and care teams to restore function and daily living activities for patients with physical disabilities.

Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, documenting progress, and coordinating discharge needs with case managers in a fast-paced hospital system.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-approved program before starting employment.
• Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-approved program before starting employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Arizona OT license in good standing prior to starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapy techniques.
• Provides verbal and written instructions to patients, caregivers and family.
• Maintains accurate and current documentation in medical records and billing.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to discuss discharge needs and plans.
• Supervises therapy assistants and delegates appropriate patient care.
• Participates in rounds, staff meetings, and departmental initiatives.
