Job summary

HonorHealth seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with physical disabilities across acute care settings. The role emphasizes plan-of-care development, documentation, and collaboration with the care team to promote functional recovery.

The OT will work in an inpatient float pool supporting multiple HonorHealth campuses, with NICU and adult exposure preferred and willingness to work across at least three medical centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university approved by AOTA (Required)
• Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university approved by AOTA (Preferred)
• Current BLS certification (Required)
• OT license in good standing with Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (Required)

Responsibilities

• Implements evidence-based OT evaluation and treatment plans.
• Develops and updates plan of care with patient/family.
• Maintains accurate documentation in medical records and billing.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for discharge planning and care optimization.
• Supervises OT assistants and staff as needed.
