Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Network Float Pool in the Greater Phoenix area. The role involves evaluating and overseeing occupational therapy services for individuals with physical disabilities and functional limitations, with emphasis on prevention, restoration, and discharge planning.

The OT will develop and update care plans in collaboration with patients and families, adhering to physician guidelines and department policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Required Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Arizona OT license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized OT treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Maintains accurate and current documentation in patient records and billing.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team on discharge plans.
• Supervises OT assistants and aides, providing updated treatment plans.
• Participates in rounds and departmental/organizational meetings.
