You will develop care plans, document thoroughly, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to restore function and independence.

Responsibilities

• Implements an individualized treatment plan using evidence-based OT techniques and activities of daily living training.
• Provides verbal and written instructions to patients, caregivers, and family members.
• Maintains current knowledge of OT techniques via continuing education, journals, and standards.
• Evaluates patients and develops a comprehensive plan of treatment with measurable goals.
• Documents evaluations, treatment notes, progress, discharge summaries, and charges.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team; discusses status, discharge plans, and equipment needs.
