Job summary

ENGEL North America is seeking a skilled Service Technician to install and service injection molding equipment at customer sites, while delivering training and support.

You will troubleshoot complex machines, perform safety checks, and coordinate parts, with occasional travel. Applicants should have 5+ years of field service experience in plastics processing, strong technical, communication, and customer-service skills.

This role requires a valid passport and driver’s license with REAL-ID.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in injection molding troubleshooting or processing
• Knowledge of blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Experience with injection molding machines and ability to provide basic training to customers and employees
• Knowledge of injection molding process and ability to troubleshoot problems systematically

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots; conducts tests and calibrations
• Performs safety checks on equipment
• Educates customers on equipment operation
• Manages resolution of customer issues; orders replacements parts as needed
• Instructs other technicians and customer operators on maintenance and safe operations
