Job summary

ENGEL North America is seeking a Service Technician to perform remote service at customer sites, installing and servicing equipment and providing training as needed. The role requires practical field experience with injection molding systems and strong troubleshooting skills.

You will work in ENGEL's North American Service Department with competitive benefits and a focus on customer satisfaction. A passport and valid driver’s license are required for travel.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with injection molding machines and related systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems systematically and independently.
• Knowledge of microprocessor programming is a plus.
• Familiarity with ENGEL machines and robots is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots, including tests and inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components.
• Performs safety checks on equipment and ensures proper operation.
• Educates customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Manages resolution of customer issues including parts installation.
• Instructs other technicians and customers on maintenance and safe operation.
