Job summary

ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Service Technician to install and service injection molding equipment at customer sites, while also providing customer training and support.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and software components, with frequent travel and on-site customer interaction. A strong background in injection molding and safety processes is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate/bachelor's preferred.
• 5+ years field service/injection molding experience.
• Strong customer service and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots at customer sites.
• Performs safety checks on equipment and basic calibrations.
• Educates customers on operation and maintenance of systems.
• Manages resolution of customer issues and parts replacement as needed.
• Orders replacements parts and diagnoses control systems.
• Instructs other technicians and customer operators on maintenance and safety.
• Communicates with service centers to resolve field problems.
• Provides written reports to the Service Manager on a regular basis.
