Job summary

ENGEL North America is seeking a Service Technician to install and service injection molding equipment at customer sites across North America. The role includes training customers and providing technical support, with field work at customer locations.

You will troubleshoot machines, perform safety checks, and coordinate parts while leveraging ENGEL’s product knowledge. A valid passport, driver's license, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with injection molding machines and a well-rounded skill set in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots, including tests and inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components.
• Performs safety checks on equipment and educates customers on proper operation.
• Manages resolution of customer issues, including parts orders and installation.
• Instructs other Service Technicians and/or customer operators on maintenance and safe operation of injection molding systems.
