Job summary

ENGEL Machinery North America seeks a Service Technician to install and service injection molding equipment at customer sites, providing training and support. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, work with robots, and communicate with the service team.

A High School Diploma is required; 5+ years in the field is preferred; passport and REAL-ID driver’s license required. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package, competitive compensation, and travel

Qualifications

• 5+ years in injection molding troubleshooting or service.
• High School Diploma required; Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, mechanical systems.
• Ability to train customers and operate independently in the field.
• Valid passport and driver’s license with REAL-ID.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots, including tests and inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components.
• Performs safety checks on equipment.
• Educates customers on equipment operation.
• Manages resolution of customer issues including parts orders and installation.
• Coordinates with Central Service/Parts Center to resolve field problems and provide written reports to the Service Manager.
