Job summary

ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Service Technician to install, service, and support injection molding equipment at customer sites across North America.

The role requires 5 years in injection molding troubleshooting, strong electrical/mechanical/hydraulic knowledge, and excellent customer service. Travel, on-site training, and collaboration with the Service Department are essential components.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years in Injection Molding troubleshooting or related field.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to educate customers and provide on-site training and support.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines and robots, including tests and inspections.
• Perform software and hardware installations and safety checks.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Manage parts orders and diagnose control-system problems.
• Instruct other technicians and customer operators on maintenance and safety.
