Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, an "Infusion Guide," to improve infusion therapy care. This full-time onsite role is based at our Largo, FL center, with a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., focusing on referrals, authorizations, and patient-centered service. Candidates should have medical chart review experience, insurance pre-authorizations, and comfort with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance prior authorizations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience with medical insurance processes.
• Ability to learn new apps quickly.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.

Responsabilités

• Handle infusion referral process and obtain authorizations.
• Provide financial counseling and benefit investigation.
• Liaise with providers to obtain documentation and update patient status.
• Communicate referral progress to patients clearly and empathetically.
• Coordinate with prescribing providers and maintain inventory.
• Participate in a structured 6-week training plan.
