Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an Infusion Guide—to support referrals, authorizations, and patient service at our McKinney, TX center. This full-time on-site role offers predictable hours, collaboration with clinicians, and a chance to impact infusion care.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Insurance prior authorization experience required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Overall medical insurance experience.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Ability to quickly learn new apps and systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle all facets of infusion referral process and authorizations.
• Coordinate with referring providers and communicate patient status.
• Provide clear communication to patients about referrals and status.
• Collaborate with referring/prescribing providers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Undergo a 6-week training plan to succeed in the role.
