Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an "Infusion Guide"—to elevate patient care in our Alpharetta center. You will manage referrals, insurance authorizations, and financial counseling to ensure seamless access to infusion therapy.

This full-time onsite role offers predictable hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm) with a training plan and benefits. Experience with EHRs and medical terminology is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience reading medical charts and handling insurance pre-authorizations.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care.
• Willingness to work onsite in Alpharetta, GA.
• Stable Mon-Fri schedule: 8:00am–4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral process and obtain authorizations.
• Provide financial counseling and benefit investigations.
• Liaise with referring providers for required documentation and status updates.
• Communicate referral status clearly to patients.
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers.
• Maintain medical inventory and office supplies; participate in training.
