Local Infusion in Mason, OH is hiring an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an "Infusion Guide"—to coordinate referrals, authorizations, and patient communications. This full-time onsite role offers a predictable schedule (M-F, 8:00am - 4:30pm) with opportunities to contribute to high-quality infusion therapy care.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Experience reading medical charts and insurance pre-authorizations.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation.
• Liaison with referring providers to obtain documentation and communicate patient status.
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• 6-week training plan to help you succeed in your role.
