Job summary

Local Infusion in Largo, FL is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, an Infusion Guide, to support referral coordination and patient care in a fast-growing infusion program. This full-time, onsite role offers a Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required and insurance pre-authorization experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process and obtain authorizations.
• Coordinate with providers and patients, and communicate status and documentation.
• Provide financial counseling and benefit investigation as needed.
• Maintain communication with referring providers and prescribers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Complete a dedicated 6-week training plan.
