Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator — an “Infusion Guide” — to support growth through detailed referral and intake coordination, delivering high-quality patient care.

The role is full-time, onsite at our Emerson, NJ center, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm. Ideal candidates have medical-chart review and insurance pre-authorization experience and seek predictable hours with career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience reading medical charts and working on insurance pre-authorizations.
• Infusion knowledge is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with EHR systems.
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps and processes.

Responsabilités

• Handle infusion referral process, obtain authorizations and financial counseling.
• Coordinate with referring providers to gather documentation.
• Communicate referral status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Maintain liaison with referring/prescribing providers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Undergo a dedicated 6 week training plan to succeed in the role.
