Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking an Infrastructure Area Field Engineer to lead multi-discipline field engineering on the SPL5 project. The role starts in Houston, TX, with eventual relocation to Sabine Pass, LA, supporting preconstruction planning and field mobilization.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design, managing cost estimates and schedules, and ensuring Bechtel Standard Application Programs are used to deliver safe, quality construction outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, or 12–14 years without a degree.
• 5+ years field engineering experience in at least one discipline; 2+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design group for constructability and design issues.
• Establish communication lines with the Project Engineer and define engineering deliverables.
• Direct cost estimating, quantity take-offs, and forecast/reporting.
• Oversee temporary construction facilities and field procurements.
• Ensure quality programs and Bechtel standard applications are used.
