Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a Field Engineer for the SPL5 project, starting in the Houston area with long-term deployment to Sabine Pass, LA. You will provide technical support to field supervision, coordinate installation activities across disciplines, and help manage materials, schedules, and quality documentation in a large LNG facility expansion.

The role requires a civil/engineering background with 2–5 years of relevant field experience, strong teamwork, and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in civil construction and field inspections.
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support to Bechtel and subcontractor field supervision.
• Inspect installations and prepare documentation for all discipline systems.
• Develop installation work packages and support construction scheduling.
• Prepare field material takeoffs and requisitions; track deliveries.
• Coordinate with procurement and project controls on quantities and progress.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, standards and codes.
• Assist with QA/QC documentation and as-built review.
• Provide day-to-day direction to direct reports and coach team members.
