Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking an Infrastructure Area Superintendent for the SPL5 project, based initially in the Bechtel Houston office with field assignment at Sabine Pass, LA. The role supervises craft operations, coordinates with discipline superintendents, and ensures work meets engineering design, schedule and budget.

You will manage and develop plans, maintain safety standards, and oversee equipment, manpower, and materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 10-12+ years of relevant experience; or 15+ years without a degree.
• Minimum of 9 years' field supervision experience on direct hire work.
• Extensive experience in civil construction of large projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discipline superintendents to determine equipment requirements.
• Schedule work, supervise in-process activities, and review completed work.
• Prepare equipment maintenance schedules and material requisitions.
• Supervise craft personnel and forecasts, job manpower, and expenditure.
• Develop and work plans and activities for the project.
• Ensure operations adhere to designs, specs, quality, schedules and budget.
• Coordinate field activities with other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal safety codes.
