Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Infrastructure Area Manager for the SPL5 LNG facility expansion. The role will start in Houston, TX and relocate to the Sabine Pass, LA site, overseeing the Infrastructure GBU scope through planning, procurement, construction and close-out.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with engineering, design sub-consultants and procurement to deliver the project on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree required (or international equivalent).
• 13–15 or 17–19 years of relevant experience depending on degree.
• Extensive experience managing multi-disciplinary teams including engineers and subconsultants.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, environmental safety, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the total site management of the Infrastructure GBU scope of works.
• Coordinate project contractual activities and budgets; negotiate scopes.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure field operations stay within budget.
• Advise on economical construction details and design alignment.
• Develop field organization and construction equipment plans.
