Job summary

The Lead Field Engineer (Siteworks) on the SPL5 Project will provide technical direction and support to Bechtel and subcontractor field supervision for all Siteworks operations, including ground improvement, earthworks, roads, stormwater drainage, and retaining wall construction. Initial work may be in Houston, TX before long-term assignment at Sabine Pass, LA.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5–8 years of relevant experience (9–12 without degree),

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5–8 years of experience, or 9–12 years without a degree.
Experience implementing Bechtel Standard Work Process Procedures.
Experience with Bechtel BSAP systems.
Knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Provide technical direction to Bechtel and subcontractor field supervision for Siteworks.
Support manpower, tool, equipment, and material planning for work evolutions.
Develop installation work packages and support construction schedules.
Prepare short- and long-term schedules and interface with superintendents.
Perform field takeoffs from Issued For Construction drawings and manage quantities.
