Job summary

Bechtel seeks a senior construction Field Engineer to lead field engineering on LNG plant projects along the US Gulf Coast, with future mobility to other units as needed. You will manage field planning, material management, quantity validation, and turnover coordination, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will supervise construction engineering personnel, interface with design teams and subcontractors, and implement project controls, SWPPs, and environmental requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field.
• 13–19 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to mobilize to multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develops and recommends the construction engineering organization for approval by Site Manager.
• Coordinates with engineering on constructability and design issues; establishes communication with Project Engineer.
• Directs cost estimates, reports, forecasts and input to project controls documents.
• Directs preparation of field procurements; approves requisitions as delegated by Field Construction Manager.
• Directs the maintenance of construction engineering records and ensures safety and quality compliance.
