Job summary

Bechtel Lead Superintendent (Piling) for SPL5 is based in Houston with a long-term assignment to the Sabine Pass, LA site. You will supervise piling activities, directing craft supervision and subcontractors to deliver priority civil work.

The role emphasizes safety ownership, scheduling discipline, cost control, and close coordination with foremen to meet project milestones on a large LNG infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant technical discipline from an accredited university with 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in civil construction on large projects.
• Previous supervisory experience within civil discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for environmental, safety, health and fire prevention on the project.
• Coordinate with the General Foreman to hire appropriate craft labor for execution of work.
• Lead the preparation and implementation of the 3-week look-ahead and four-week rolling schedule with budget control.
• Prepare material requisitions for tools and consumables and coordinate through Supply Chain.
• Review craft time records and major equipment mobilization/demobilization.
