Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to lead the architectural vision for resilient database and storage infrastructure across cloud-native, on‑prem, and hybrid environments. You will own end-to-end designs, enforce encryption, DR planning, and high availability to ensure data integrity and reliability.

You will embed deep observability, drive security controls, and collaborate with multiple product teams to align roadmaps with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field plus seven years IT experience and two years of architecture leadership.
• Experience evaluating business requirements and designing systems in complex environments; health insurance domain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural vision for resilient database and storage infrastructure across product teams and environments (cloud, on‑prem, hybrid).
• Design and own comprehensive database/storage solutions with encryption, backup, DR targets (RTO/RPO).
• Establish enterprise resiliency standards, fault-tolerance, and high availability configurations.
• Embed observability and telemetry across database/storage for real‑time platform health visibility.
• Ensure security/compliance with encryption, RBAC, audit logging; partner with security teams.
• Conduct capacity planning and develop forecasting models for storage/compute networking resources.
• Develop reference architectures and governance; align roadmaps with enterprise principles.
• Estimate resources/timelines and oversee delivery with a focus on data integrity and reliability.
