Job summary

Cambia Health is hiring an Infrastructure Architect to lead the architectural vision for resilient database and storage infrastructure across cloud-native, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will drive end-to-end design, security, and observability while aligning with enterprise standards.

You will partner with IT Architecture to ensure scalable, compliant solutions that support core business operations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field; 7+ years IT with leadership & architecture experience.
• Experience designing complete systems in complex environments; health insurance domain knowledge preferred.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable data/storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural vision for resilient database and storage infrastructure across multiple deployment environments.
• Design end-to-end database/storage solutions including encryption, backup, and disaster recovery with defined RTO/RPO.
• Establish enterprise standards for resiliency, high availability, replication, and cyber recovery.
• Embed observability and telemetry for real-time platform health across environments.
• Ensure security controls (encryption, RBAC, audit logging) align with regulatory standards.
• Conduct capacity planning and forecasting for storage, compute, and networking resources.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures and governance for database/storage platforms.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to align roadmaps and standards.
• Estimate resources and timelines; ensure delivery excellence and data integrity.
