Job summary

Valtronics Sales, a family-owned company with a Southpointe office in Pennsylvania, seeks an Outside Sales Engineer/Representative to drive growth in Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia. You will sell valve and instrumentation products, provide technical guidance, and build lasting customer relationships across industrial and municipal accounts.

Based in our Southpointe office with travel across the region, the ideal candidate has 5+ years in valves/instrumentation, strong mechanical

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in valves, instrumentation, or related industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to discuss technical applications confidently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, especially in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory (Western PA and Northern WV).
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Promote and sell valve and instrumentation products to industrial and municipal clients.
• Provide technical guidance and support to customers, demonstrating mechanical understanding and product applications.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors for high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations.
• Accurately document activities and manage customer information.
